Where Neuroscience Meets Awareness
Krista Swanson + Gary Gleason
We are happy to announce a partnership between Dr. Krista Swanson of NeuroSphere and Gary Gleason of Meeting Your Magnificence. As a psychological and spiritual wellness team, Gary and Krista offer a fresh approach to expansive healing and aligned personal growth. Their integrative approach that combines psychological science, neuroscience, contemplative practice, and spiritual wisdom to foster greater wholeness, resilience, and conscious living.
“We work at the level of the heart, the meeting place of transcendence and embodiment.” Krista
Non-duality serves as the team’s philosophical framework for understanding human flourishing. From a non-dual perspective, the heart is the doorway through which awareness recognizes itself in all things. Healing becomes the heart-centered restoration of relationship—with oneself, with others, with the body, with nature, and with the deeper ground of Being (Source or God) itself. Gary and Krista hold a frame of unity consciousness grounded in compassion, connection and respect for diverse belief systems.
This team is evolving psychotherapy to meet the moment, to meet people in a wildly shifting world, to meet in the calm center of the chaos which precedes aligned order. Krista and Gary invite you to rest and restore yourself in the safe and sacred eye of the storm.
Innovating at the intersection of neuroscience, metaphysics, clinical + developmental psychology, anthropology and spirituality illuminates some initial understandings:
Everything is energy. Energy, by nature, flows.
Energy can be read. Clinical assessment of energetic flow or lack of flow in and around the body reliably points us to areas of needed support.
The mind seeks to align itself with truth and fulfillment, and often does when we restore energetic flow.
The body (including the brain) seeks to heal and strengthen itself, and often does when we restore energetic flow,
The spirit seeks to energetically unite in transcendence. It abides in beauty and life force. It is eternally whole, never damaged, never disordered, never ill.
Spirit is the true essence of each person. Resting in Spirit is the direct path to remembering who we are.
Getting out of our own way at every level and choosing the fullness of life at every level allows for free-flowing health and flourishing. It allows us to live the way we were made to live, that is, in our true nature.
For many of us, this means getting energetically unstuck in order to get back on our life’s developmental trajectory, to reclaim our life with power and surrender, to align. When we reengage with our life force, when we reignite it, we come to an integrated “mind-body-spirit,” we remember who we truly are. Such integration brings ease, clarity, flow, emotional grace, and freedom. It invites inner peace, joy, passion and transcendence in all that we are. It is the bedrock of healthy human development. It is the organic catalyst for everything deep and magical in our lives.
The team offers a myriad of integrative health services to first release blocks and then fortify opened pathways across multiple mind-body-spirit systems. Just as Krista focuses on pathways within your body’s nervous system and within your mind’s intrapsychic (parts) integration, Gary focuses on pathways within your energetic body.
Krista is a clinical and developmental psychologist and a mystic who has always sought the deep meanings of Jesus, his life, his teachings, his love. She brings to this work a rich background in liberation theology, in contemplative practice centered on abiding in Divine union / love, and in ministering healing and guidance through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. She is drawn to ancient Sufi and Gnostic texts and to the mentorship of Richard Rohr and Rupert Spira within her practice of non-duality. Krista is certified at the masters level in theology, specifically in the integration of spirituality in psychotherapy. Krista is certified and licensed at the doctoral level in clinical psychology. Krista’s expertise in trauma treatment provides a safe and sacred container to release traumatic stress once and for all. Among psychotherapy, consultation and coaching clients, the team has seen the goals of aligning relationships, restoring emotional balance, regulating nervous systems, reaching greater Self-direction, etc. streamline via this integrative work.
Gary is a master metaphysician and a mystic with a background in Buddhism. He is drawn to the mentorship of Eckart Tolle and of Rupert Spira in his practice of non-duality. He is certified at the masters level to offer guided astral travel, and Chakra balancing, and in-depth energy work to remove blocks in the etheric (energetic) body to help heal past wounds and to foster life in the natural joy of presence. This work addresses both symptom relief and underlying conflicts, internalized messages, and limiting self-stories. Gary is a Fulbright scholar, an entrepreneur and a professional alpine skier. As an award-winning author of spiritual literature, the “Meeting Your Magnificence” series, Gary uplifts and guides the spiritual growth of thousands.
The team’s commitment to untethering the life force within each person grounds their collaborative approach. This work invites openness, curiosity, and creativity. In integrative health sessions, Krista and Gary support you in the practice of relaxing into inner understanding. All the work is individualized to you and to your goals. You co-create, with them, a space that invites that which makes you pulse, what allows you to access renewed energy, agency, and desire.
Both Gary and Krista are present with you throughout each integrative session. These sessions are offered as a one-time treatment, as brief work, or as ongoing work. Integrative sessions are offered separate from or in tandem with psychotherapy sessions (CO + CA), consultation sessions (worldwide), coaching sessions (worldwide). For those living anywhere in the World, we offer brief psychotherapy and integrative health services as part of 2-5 day intensives for those traveling to Aspen for this inner work.
